Betty Colleen (Barton) Lane passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, after contracting pneumonia. She had been in declining health for several weeks.
Betty loved her family and friends, and she loved good times and laughter. She was an avid reader and enjoyed good mystery novels, riddles, crossword puzzles and crypto-quotes. Family gatherings and game nights with friends, especially Sharon Murray and her family, were highlights for her. She liked trying new recipes, cooking everything that Paul grew in his backyard garden. She was a sports fan, cheering for the Sooners, Cowboys and Thunder, as well as Serena Williams.
