There was massive flooding as a result of Hurricane Helene. Parts of North Carolina were especially hard hit. Spruce Creek residents and North Carolina natives are collecting relief supplies and will transport these donations to the Charlotte area where they will be distributed by the local Red Cross.

A multiple text was sent out by Geraldy Lynn Dicey on Wednesday, 10/2 by Thursday, Judy Genty opened her doors and unbelievable donations appeared in her living room, dining room, and den for those in North Carolina. James & Cortney Hamilton are driving their truck up to the Ashville, NC area to drop off on Sunday.
Judy was heard saying “she is happy to live in a place where people care. Such good neighbors”. There are more folks helping out – like the good folks on Sea Grape, Golf Villa area of Spruce Creek.
